"Kim Namjoon - An Inspiration Beyond Imagination"

BTS is considered as one of the biggest boy band in the whole of universe right now, and with their back to back hits like Dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance, their fanbase is growing day by day across the globe.  But with great achievements comes great responsibility and with that also comes the pressure of doing your best every time because a lot of people are pinning their hopes on you. But do you really think that all this success and world fame was an easy gain? No, never, because bigger the prize, bigger the price.

Kim Namjoon, popularly known as RM an abbreviation for Rap Monster  or Real Me (as the rapper says that is what it means currently) is the leader of BTS but along with that he is also a human being who is full of intellect and wise words. RM born to middle class family has been a bright student always, before developing an interest in producing and creating music and rapping, he had almost decided to pursue a career in literature as he gained a lot appreciation and won a lot of prizes while in school for his poems. But at the age of 11 he became interested in hip - hop after hearing to Epik High's Fly. And soon as a first year middle school student RM began rapping and engaging himself in underground hip - hop groups. 

Not only that RM also scored a place in top 1% of the nation in the University Entrance Exams for language, Maths, foreign languages and social studies which proved that he has an IQ of 148. And because he was an intelligent kid, his parents wanted him to pursue his studies instead of music and at a time he had even decided to give up on music but then later on as he grew up, he  knew that something that he truly wanted to do in life was being a rapper and so pursue his mother he had asked her, 'What did she want? A first place rapper or 5000th place student?'

And after joining Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee in 2010 along with the other members, he had created a place for himself not only in the group but also in hearts of his members. And because he was the first member to join and also one of the most capable person who had literally seen the formation of the group,  he was given the position of being the leader of BTS, and he is also of the reasons why all of other six members Jin, Suga, J - Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook decided to join and stay in BTS. Although there was a time when RM was asked by the CEO of Big Hit Entertainment that  what would he choose? To debut as a solo artist or BTS? And do you know what did he choose? Obviously BTS, this very act of his shows his dedication towards BTS and his love for BTS and it's members. 

He appears to be a strict man and can also be seen scolding his band mates when they make any mistakes but he is also one of the persons who cares for his band mates the most and all the maknaes Jimin, V and Jungkook like to call him dad as a form of teasing because of the fact that RM is just like a dad who scolds his children and family for their good but also cares for them the most and are happy and proud of their achievements when the time comes. And as already mentioned that he is a person who will scold his band mates whenever they go wrong but he never lets anyone else point a finger at them, he like a leader is always there to protect them. 

Not only this, he at an young age has achieved a lot of credits to his name, he along with his band mates has addressed the UN's 73rd and 75th General Assembly and will again do so on behalf of his country this year. They as a team also have achieved the most number of Daesangs (one of the most prestigious award in South Korea) for their contribution in growing the country's economy and GDP and spreading the Korean culture worldwide single handedly. 

But you know what is sad, with all this also came the hate. During their initial years RM was the most hated member of the group and had been thrown various hate comments of how he did not deserve a place in BTS, how he is ugly and how he should leave BTS by people who dare call themselves as A.R.M.Ys but he chose to ignore those comments and promised A.R.M.Ys that he will make them proud one day and they will be happy to call themselves as A.R.M.Ys and me being an A.R.M.Y can vouch for the fact that he has done that. He has made all of us proud. Also in their initial years when the boys received hate in English, RM used to translate and interpret (because only he knew to communicate in English back then ) it into positive comments, so that the boys are not disheartened and kept all the negativity for himself, and this is just one of the reasons why he is the best leader and human being. 

And that is why I say that he is an inspiration beyond imagination, an inspiration whom we all should look upto and learn how to ignore and overcome the negativity thrown at you and come out stronger, so one day you stand at place of what they can only think but can never achieve.
