"Fight For My Way" is a South-Korean television series released in the year 2017 on the channel KBS2. The series has a full-fledged star cast with the amazing and beautiful Kim Ji-Won, the handsome Park Seo - Joon, the cute Ahn Jae - Hong and the dazzling Song Ha - Yoon. This television series was the slot leader during it's entire run and also topped the popularity index for 3 weeks straight because of it's extremely real, emotional and catchy plot and an amazingly beautiful performance by the very talented actors.

Fight For My Way narrates the story of four childhood friends Ko Dong - Man, Choi Ae - Ra, Kim Joo -Man and Baek Seol - Hee, the underdogs with big dreams literally of their league with their underqualification to achieve those dreams. And with this being said we get know the most important lesson that we can learn from this drama and that is to never stop chasing your dreams because as rightly said by Jimin of BTS "Go on your path, even if you live for a day." 

And our beloved Ko Dong - Man, Choi Ae - Ra, Kim Joo - Man and Baek Seol - Hee do the same by following their dreams of becoming a famous Taekwondo player, an announcer, having a permanent and good payable job and having a loving family. All of their dreams very different from each other but there is one thing that is common between all four of them and that is their courage to follow their dreams at all costs.

Ko Dong - Man, a Taekwondo player has to give up his dreams of being a professional player because of an incident that took place when he was probably a teen and now works various jobs to earn a living. He is not happy with his current life and still yearns for the chance to fulfill his bream of being a professional player but doesn't have the courage to go back and start from the scratch. But he only realizes his mistake of not chasing his dreams when he could was when his childhood friend Choi Ae - Ra was kicked out of her job and he asked her to chase her dreams of being an announcer because she was not happy living this life of working in a departmental store and her friend counter backs asking was he any different? 

It is only then that he decides to go and chase his dream of being a professional taekwondo player, and while on this journey there we many people who mocked him, de - motivated him and advised him to give up as it was not his cup of tea anymore. But his friends and coach always supported him and at last he was able to achieve his dream of being a professional player and also winning the championship.

While Ko Dong - Man dreamt of being a Taekwondo player, our cute Choi Ae - Ra dreamt of being an announcer. Now working at a departmental store, her life has become very monotonous and boring. Although very different from Ko Dong - Man, Choi Ae - Ra always tried chasing her dreams of being an announcer. She never misses even a minor opportunity that would take her closer to her dream because of which she had to act as an MC at her friend's wedding, take up the role of the absent MC at a beach festival and what not. Eventually she gets her first big interview at KBS but is unable to qualify because of two reasons: firstly she was underqualified with no experience and secondly she was poor and had no influence. Even though she had to go through numerous rejections, she never gives up. She cries, she is exhausted of not giving up the fight but she keeps going on only with the belief that all her hard work would be paid of one day and she will be able to fulfill her dream of being an announcer. 

And finally at last all her dreams come true when she is selected as the MC of the Taekwondo championship and becomes really famous as it was a first time that some lady had took up the position of an MC at such a competition and a place which was usually reserved for the males.

While we have Ko Dong - Man and Choi Ae - Ra dreaming of becoming a professional player and an announcer we have our Kim Joo - Man and Baek Seol - Hee not having very extravagant dreams but simple dreams like having a well paid permanent job and having a happy family. Even though it might seem that simple dreams like these are easy to achieve but my dear friend the story is not so simple. And like always people are never happy when they see you living a happy life and thus create problems to disrupt your happy & peaceful life and this is exactly what happens with Kim Joo - Man and Baek Seol - Hee as well. Their happy and perfect relation is put to test when Jang Ye - Jin enters their life. They have to go through a massive heart break, only to learn how to trust again and never allow others to destroy your life. 

Although all of them have various dreams to chase and fulfill, it is the HOPE that keeps them moving forward, making them take all kind of challenges and never give on their dreams. As the dreams are the wheels of your life but hope is the driving force that keeps it rolling.  And a DREAM is useless without HOPE. 

Like Ko Dong - Man dreams of becoming a professional player but is unable to go back to it although it is always there at the back of his mind, only because he has hope that may be one day, 'I will be a professional Taekwondo player'. Which is the case with Choi Ae - Ra, Kim Joo - Man and Baek Seol - Hee as well they all have hopes of their dreams being fulfilled because Dreams and Hope go hand - in - hand. 

And thus we have our four dazzling characters meeting endless failure but never giving up on their dreams because they know the value of dreams in their lives. Dreams are the reason because of which we live and even though it does  not count as one of the three basic necessities to live life according to Maslow's theory but it does come on number four because after you are successful in achieving the three basic necessities of life, it is dreams that  gives a new purpose to your life.

So, "Never Stop Chasing your Dreams and work hard to achieve it, even if it is only get one day that you get  to live your dream. Dreams have the capacity to destroy your life as well as built your life. And so the decision is yours about how you plan on chasing your dreams."
